Trellys-Y-Cnwc
is a small working farm. We rear calves and have a mixed
herd of 160 cattle.
We grow cereals for grain and
straw and grass for grazing and silage. We have a pet
sheep called 'Smartie' who thinks she is a cow!
Then there is 'Yellow Legs'
our cockeral who keeps seven hens in line. They
live a free range life and spend many hours just pecking
away.
Ben and Flash our two dogs are
convinced visitors only come to see them! Jasper Cat
and Matilda can often be found curled up on the straw.

There is also an abundance of
bird and wildlife on the farm, which we encourage. We
have Pheasants nesting on the rock which can be seen
from our self-catering accommodation Clover Cottage
and you regularaly see Buzzards watching from above.
Foxes and badgers have their sets
in the wooded areas of the farm. Wild ducks visit our
small pond which is home to frogs, toads and other pond
life.
